The construction companies' contracts are screwed up in such a way that they benefit themselves as much as possible. Construction companies usually use standard contracts and the estate agent / building consultant will try to explain to you that they are OK. But that's not always true!
The terms of the purchase agreement contain important information about payment of all or part of the purchase price before the key is handed over. As a buyer's adviser, it is my job to ensure that you do not have problems with the construction company.
